Frequently Asked Questions

What format should my manuscript be in?

Editing is performed in Microsoft Word. Therefore, formats easily exported to Word, e.g., Google Docs, are acceptable. However, there will be a fee for exporting PDFs into a Word Document.

Manuscripts should be double spaced, in size 12pt Times New Roman font, with one-inch margins. PDFs that are exported into Microsoft Word will be formatted to this standard.

 

How will I get my feedback?

An Editorial Letter is provided for all projects. In addition, for all editing services, Microsoft Word's Track Changes and Comments features are used to provide feedback.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! Payment plans tailored to your project are available. When the deposit amount is reached, the project will be scheduled.

Will you rewrite my manuscript?

Absolutely not. Retaining the author's voice, story, and intention is always a top priority. All edits, suggestions, and rewrites are addressed in the scope of the edit and quickly reverted to the original text. Ghostwriting is not a service currently offered.

How do I know what service is right for me?

What Style Guide do you use?

All edits are made regarding the Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition.
